Introduction
In this two-part article, I aim to address the many questions that have been regularly asked by my clients or by the public who visit my exhibitions. I do not wish to dwell on purely technical aspects, as these should primarily be the result of a personal approach and, in my opinion, cannot simply be copied from one photographer to another.
Instead, I will discuss the subjects and practical aspects that have allowed me to gradually build my path in the field of black and white photography. Therefore, these should be understood as personal advice and somehow philosophical opinions, the sole purpose of which is to help my less experienced readers who often question their creative approach.

Regarding the questions about my equipment, I will not discuss them in detail because, like any photographer, my equipment has evolved over time. Therefore, it would be impossible for me to recommend cameras or lenses that I have used and that, for some of them, no longer exist. Others, moreover, have not always met my expectations. But whatever mistakes I have made in my choices, I consider them an integral part of the experience gained.
On the other hand, certain fundamental elements that have been part of my equipment for many years, such as tripods, ball heads, filters, or protective gear, remain faithful companions. Therefore, you will find references to them in this article, as I recommend them for their robustness, build quality, and the pleasure they bring when working in difficult weather conditions.

In landscape photography, for example, a project requires the ability to visit a particular location very regularly. Therefore, it is sometimes necessary to adjust initial ambitions by being realistic about our ability to pursue the project.
Moreover, a photographic project, by definition, has a beginning and an end. This aspect is very important. After spending several years developing a project, conducting research, and making personal investments, it can be difficult to bring the work to a close. Therefore, it is essential to keep this in mind when developing a method or evolving it over time.

Based on my experience, being represented by museums has certainly been the greatest moments of my photographic career. The nature of these places offers a credibility that galleries do not have. Joining a museum's collections is, in a way, becoming part of their history. It is leaving a solid trace of your work for future generations. It is also ensuring that your prints will be regularly displayed and treated with the utmost care.
Unlike galleries, which have a more commercial approach, museums aim to enrich their heritage and ensure cultural longevity. It is therefore a great honor to be able to exhibit there and, moreover, to join their collections of artworks.
While social media platforms are excellent for showcasing your work and building an audience, their primary role is to attract potential buyers rather than directly facilitating sales. By sharing your photographs online, you can generate interest and direct viewers to your gallery representations, where the actual transactions are more likely to occur.
