” The Lake Geneva Museum presents a retrospective of the author's work on the lakes of Europe and Japan. Lake Biwa is the Japanese equivalent of Lake Geneva in terms of its surface area. Its geographical characteristics also share several similarities with the Franco-Swiss lake. Having started this work many years ago on the shores of Lake Geneva, the photographer then became interested in many other lakes with the same consistent and systematic approach. Pursuing a personal exploration inspired by Asian painting (sumi-e), it is around Lake Biwa that the author finds a refuge for expression in Japan... ” (H.T.)

The 3 major moments of the exhibition :
Opening ceremony on November 19, 2015, in the presence of the photographer. Madame Chizuko Hayashi, a Koto (Ikuta school) teacher, will honor us with a performance of traditional Japanese music.
The Lake Geneva Museum and Glénat Editions are publishing a book on this occasion, a collection of the exhibition, which will be presented and signed during the opening.
On February 2, 2016, at 7pm: a discussion and debate on the representation of water in landscape photography in collaboration with the Focale Gallery and Madame Alessandra Panigada, an Art historian.
水鏡 レマン湖から琵琶湖へ
レマン湖美術館 スイス·ニヨン

ニヨンにあるレマン湖美術館（The Musée du Léman）にて、ヨーロッパと日本で撮影した数々の湖での写真、オリヴィエ·ロベール回顧展が開かれます。 琵琶湖はジュネーブ湖（レマン湖）とほぼ同面積であるだけでなく、山に囲まれているという地理的な条件においてもとても類似しています。 写真家としてレマン湖畔での撮影を長年に渡って行なってきました。そして現在は同様の一貫性のあるスタイルで他の多くの湖畔での撮影を続けています。
水墨画的な独自の表現方法を追い求めているうちに、日本における写真家目線での好みの地をようやく琵琶湖畔に見つけました。

写真展に関する重要事項3点：
オープニングパーティー 2015年11月19日 － 写真家在館 生田流琴の師匠である林 智津子氏が日本の伝統音楽を演奏されます。
展示写真及びその他の作品を含めた写真集がレマン湖美術館とグレナ出版の協力で出版されます。オープニングパーティー当日の11月19日に発表となり、写真家によるサイン会も行なわれます。
2016年2月2日（火）：水のある風景写真に関する討論会がフォーカルギャラリーとアレッサンドラ·パニガータ氏の協力のもと開催されます。
